Measure

Prerequisites

  • Take standard measurement tape, paper and pen

Do’s

  • All Units must be in Centimeter
  • Wear a fit t-shirt and a fit trouser
  • Ensure your pockets are empty
  • Stand straight and put down your hands in normal position

Don’ts

  • Must avoid low hip trousers
  • Don’t hold your breath while measuring.
  • Don’t do any round-off in measurement values, but limit to one digit after decimal.

Procedure to measure Net body size

  • Height (In centimeter)
  • Weight (In Kilogram)

Neck

Pass through 2 cm lower than the larynx and make the tape surround the neck horizontally and place 1 finger inside the circumference

Chest

Pass through the highest point of chest, make the tape surround chest horizontally, ensure straight level and place 2 fingers inside the circumference.

Waist

Pass through the thinnest part of the waist and make the tape surround waist horizontally, ensure straight level and place 2 fingers inside the circumference.

Belly

When the customer has a belly, you need measure the thickest part of the belly additionally, which is the biggest circumference of the belly and place 2 fingers inside the circumference.

Hip

Pass through the highest point of hip and make the tape surround hip horizontally and place 2 fingers inside the circumference.

Back length - Tuck Out

Pass through the 7th neck bone to the suitable position, if he need tuck out shirt, measure to the middle of the back

Back length - Tuck In

Pass through the 7th neck bone to the suitable position, if he need tuck in shirt, measure to the end of the back

Tuck-In Measurment

Shoulder width

Measure the horizontal arc length between the top points of both shoulders.

Long-sleeve length

Pass through the elbow and measure from the shoulder point to 1-2cm upper than part of the hand between the thumb and the index finger or ask the customer’s preferable sleeve length.

Left Cuff

Pass through the ulna part when the customer puts arms down naturally and make the tape surround wrist horizontally and place 1 finger inside the circumference. If customer normally wears watch or bracelet, add the 1-2cm length in the total

Right Cuff

Pass through the ulna part when the customer puts arms down naturally and make the tape surround wrist horizontally and place 1 finger inside the circumference. If customer normally wears watch or bracelet, add the 1-2cm length in the total

Upper arm width

Pass through the strongest part when the customer puts arms down naturally and make the tape surround upper-arm horizontally and place 1 finger inside the circumference.

Fore arm width

Pass through the strongest part of forearm and make the tape surround upper-arm horizontally and place 1 finger inside the circumference.

Front length - Tuck Out

Pass through the thickest point of the chest and measure from neck-shoulder point to the mid of pants front zipper and add more 1.5cm in the total

Front Tuck-Out Measurment

Front length - Tuck In

Pass through the thickest point of the chest and measure from neck-shoulder point to the end of pants front zipper and add more 1.5cm in the total

Front Tuck-In Measurment

Front chest width

Measure half of the distance between front armpit and shoulder point. Armpit means the end-point of the included angle formed by chest and upper-arm.

Back width

Measure half of the distance between back armpit and shoulder point. Armpit means the end-point of the included angle formed by back and upper-arm.

Short sleeve length

Ask the customer to bend his hand at 90°, measure from the shoulder-arm joint to 2cm above hand bend-point or ask customer preference in the length of sleeve.

Short sleeve opening

Make the tape surround the sleeve horizontally located at the point of short-sleeve’s end (Previous Point No.16) and place 1 finger inside the circumference.
